Graduating from the Faculty of Architecture in Ljubljana, Lidija completed a master’s degree in Industrial design on the Academy of Applied Arts in Ljubljana. Since 2006, she has been registered as an architect at ZAPS and works as a senior architectural design engineer. From 2000 to 2006, she collaborated with prominent architectural firms in Ljubljana: Ofis, Sadar Vuga, D&K.

Besides working in architecture, she works as a critic and publicist. She is a regular contributor to Ambient magazine, the architectural editor for Kontrast magazine and editor of Kontrast Destilator.

She has received several awards for her work: a Trimo postgraduate research award, a Forma prizewinner at the Ljubljana Furniture Exhibition, she came 3rd in the Interior of the Year competition. She was also involved in a number of award-winning collaborative competition projects. Her works have been published in various media. She has taken part in 16 exhibitions and 1 solo show.
