The construction of the Bridge at Špica provides the apparatus for a new urban park. A simple steel construction is clad with wooden panels that create three functional zones. The zones on the sides are made for passage, while that in the centre gradually rises and creates a bench on the bridge. The bridge can be used for passage as well as for stopping and resting above the river. The Bridge at Grablovičeva addresses different rhythms of passage: from the fast to the slow. On the west side, where extensions were possible, the platform of the bridge lowers closer towards the river. It creates an amphitheatre that offers spaces with benches and park equipment. The river becomes the back-drop and the event of this amphitheatre.
